Envelopper II is a work that questions drawing, the representation of volume on a flat surface, as well as the timing and the autonomy of a line that results from a creation process that is close to obstinacy.
The representation of a same meticulous gesture creates a pattern that warps the surface of a space, a sheet of paper or an image. The line makes vibration and abstract volumes appear referring to something familiar between organic and animal. Contradictory landscapes are created where the dash itself seems to acquire complete autonomy, inviting the viewer to immerse his look between the suggested spaces, involving him in the creative process.
This work wish to explore, under various ways, the question around tenacity and persistence of an accurate creation method. Through the paper shett, the image, the volume and the exhibition space itself, Envelopper II wishes, overall, to question drawing and its space.
